day 2, 1.3 - 1.5

Some highlights from today.
Basics of linear functions, like slope formula and intercepts.
We also covered horizontal (constant function) lines and vertical lines (which cannot be graphed using [y=] on the graphing calculator)

Slope-Intercept form, Point-Slope form and Standard form.
We covered the usual finding equations and graphing associated with these forms.

Parallel lines have the same slope and Perpendicular lines have "negative reciprocal" slopes

we did not cover linear regression

We covered solving linear equations and ways to use your calculator to do this. I still feel the calculator is inconvenient for this task.

Lastly we covered solving 3-part inequalities.
