today was all introduction.
We went over some graphing calculator basics like setting your window, setting your window back to default and doing square, cube and higher roots.
Make sure you understand basic operations of the calculator, like the difference between the minus sign and the negative sign.
you should have the pythagorean theorem, the distance formula and the midpoint formula already saved on your mental hard drive from your previous courses.
Section 1.2 was functions but first we went over set notation and interval notation. For the most part in this class we will use interval notation.
we defined a function and talked about the vertical line test, domain and range, and function notation.
